Singer-songwriter John Denver touched millions of people and reached superstar status by his folk-inspired pop hits many of them based in Colorado. Henry John Deutschendorf Jr. is a New Mexican born musician and singer who fell in love with Colorado. Denver's songs that he sang about his adopted home state drew many tourists to Colorado.
